Joan's surprise birthday celebration

Daniel organize a surprise advance birthday celebration for Joan yesterday.. In Miri.. Far isn't it? hehe
Cake above was Chocolate Indulgence from Secret Recipe.. Luckily the cake surface was large enough for all our names.. yeah! lol
Daniel booked the VIP room at Sport Cafe.. The birthday girl got tipsy at the end so we all quickly left and went up the hill for the fireworks as planned by Daniel.. Mission complete lol

wuuu~~ I woke up this morning for breakfast looking like a zombie.. But sawing someone at the restaurant make me wide awake.. The crazy woman who accused me for going after her boyfriend.. Thanks to my so-called friend who set me up.. She is one woman who talk and scream without using her brain~~ lol Anyway, it's the past.. She stop making up story at the end, after my friends help me talk it out with her.. bless them!

Went to Excapade Sushi for lunch today with Jonathan.. He is one straight forward adviser, like to wash me and Kath's brain lol
I haven't shop at Ego for quite a long time.. so today got myself a legging from there.. haha.. shopping is always one of the best de-stress therapy for ladies =P

Good thing that I bought my baby car new wiper today.. Tested it out and it work just fine, no noisy rough sound anymore! yeah!

I went visit little Aston boy this afternoon.. Daphne & Amie went over to Grace's house too.. Aston look fierce!! haha.. He love stretching! or I think all babies does.. lol.. At first I thought he have small eyes, then I saw his big eyes when Daphne carried him.. wuuu big!

Note to self: no more coco crunch or honey star cereal for me.. boo* =( Today I confirmed that I can't consume too much (like half a bag lol) of sweet cereal! I'll get dizzy..

By the way, I read on web today about the Merlion Hotel at Singapore.. The actual statue being set up into a temporary hotel suite for a few weeks ! Interesting.. At first I thought that my day will turn out bad.. lucky no! =D

But then my case isn't big compare with the tragic at Japan.. Scary tsunami!! sighs~ sad for them.. I found a website which direct donations to Japanese red cross from where you are, so yes, I made my donation! :)
I bought this Essence of Chicken to try.. Each bottle have a little percentage of ginseng, bird nest and cordyceps.. quite nice~~

Felicia brought us some cream puffs to try.. I had the vanilla filling.. hmmm taste alright.. nothing special actually.. maybe I should try the chocolate filling next time as I heard that's good..

I drove down to Miri after work because there's a education roadshow so I went to take a look.. No, not for me but for the elder twin! lol Anyway, consider a fruitful trip as we found the university he is interested in and my mum is alright with it too.. so its Kuala Lumpur life soon! :)

At first.. We went to the building on the left and 'hmmm issit here?' We weren't sure so we approach the receptionist inside.. ok~ wrong place!! LOL

The building on the right is the correct one! lol This private hospital is big with complicated signage.. haha.. Lucky we found Grace's ward smoothly hehe

Guess what, I woke up super early today and cook chicken soup! thanks to my mum for the lesson hehe

It didn't really really really (-___-) take that long to get the soup done, after that I met Rue for breakfast.. It was a miracle morning for me to get up for chicken soup and breakfast hehe :P

Oh well..... Rue is flying off tomorrow.. Even though this trip he was back for a month plus but the time given to me felt so short! sighs, guess I'm getting greedy..! hehe.. hmmm Anyway, he is also busy~~

There were times I prefer him to be away in SG so my heart won't hurt so.. but then when time is up, knowing he is flying off again, I wish he stay back.. I don't want us to be apart again =(

Good weather today!
Its a nice Sunday to stay in bed until afternoon.. but I didn't.. I got up before noon and prepare for lunch gathering hehe..
I had lunch at Kitaro Restaurant with lot of girls and three guys..
Its a new Japanese restaurant which I haven't get the chance to try out.. Well, the price range is kinda expensive but good quality of food! yum~~

Saturday night, Hiang came up from his village and asked me & Chienz to join him for movie.. We watched "127 hours".. The movie is based on true story oh.. I read some reviews on the movie and some people said it's boring, but I find it ok.. hehe.. Story is about a rock climber who got his hand stuck and how he survive, escape..

Body Massage & Scrub at Intan Spa

Saturday again.. work went well, thanks to boss and supervisor not being in the office. lol
I'm feeling the pain on my shoulder again, so I thought of going for a good massage.. Since I have been stressing about few stuff lately, massage would really help.. I try out this place called 'Intan Spa' which I found online, they provide 'Bali-ness' Massage..

The place is at this old building in Gadong area.. Might be old but the place is well kept.. Strong smell of wood which I don't really like, but great service.. Overall, I love their body scrub (yea, I end up trying out their body scrub lol).. massage was alright (I guess I still prefer Thai massage), if I were to go back again it's definitely for their body scrub.. =)

But then, human being are almost all the same.. give them 5 to 10 minutes to explode/scream/cry.. After that just by saying sorry and making them smile back works all the time..
Repeating may get bored and yeah you think 'why always me giving in??' but then we would still continue doing it because we don't want to see our loves one sad and it's a win-win situation when our ears/heart get hurt.. - this apply for both male & female lol

Alright, today is the last day of Chinese New Year! Our office arranged for Lion Dance troupe to give us blessing and fortune.. hehe..
Above picture, the lion dance at my table.. ohhhh good business and money come come =P

At night, my family went to Lucky Restaurant for dinner.. Guess what, we waited for more than an hour for our dishes to serve.. We were so starving already! So many people! and A few tables of people cancel their order and left the restaurant.. bad service? yieks.. I don't think my family will be heading there again for special occasion..

My best friend's wedding.. on Valentine's day..
This couple wants everyone to celebrate with them on this day.. or maybe it's a 'easy-to-remember-date' hehe
I slept over at Clemence house with Sally last night and we end up sleeping late because too much to catch up with *talk talk talk talk*.. Summore the bride couldn't sleep.. hehehehe
A busy day today.. This time I wasn't busy torturing the Groom's brothers at the door games.. Instead I was busy being a bridesmaid! lol
Fetching things for Clemence.. Carried stuff for her, especially all her red packets.. *too bad, not mine lol* Anyway, Me in a white dress.. looking fat but I did tried to look thinner in PHOTOS.. haha.. Below picture is ugly but it's the only picture I have of me in full lol
**After a busy morning, I met Samuel for Lunch at Korean Restaurant with my youngest brother.. Thanks Samuel!
**Then went to meet up with Wei Ru, who flew all the way back from Singapore for Clemence's wedding.. hehe.. and some funny incident happen when I saw him.. I almost-crash my car rims.. not one but two.. oh my clumsiness.. Wei Ru felt abit guilty and summore its Valentine's day, he offer to buy me flowers.. Thanks Wei Ru! =)

The day after Valentine's day, after a full lunch with Ah Jun, Winnie, Nicole.. Me and Wei Ru left Miri.. and We stop by KB to EAT..
Met Hiang for late lunch haha, Wei Ru surrendered eating at the end haha.. and the waitress at Fratini's gave me their left over rose.. dududududu
**At night bf gave me the gifts which he brought from Taiwan.. One of the gifts: Hello Kitty waffle rolls.. CUTE and it taste super sweet, I think because of its Strawberry flavor.. then I was surprise that he suggest we catch a movie, felt like dating again..

Mei Ling shared with me: Almost everyday this man sit alone at the 'kopitiam' with a cup of tea and watch the television silently for a few hours.. Some customer there thought he have no family or he can't talk.. Few people approach and asked why don't he stay at home, he replied that he have nothing to do at home.. so he prefer to sit outside and sometime meet friends.. I went to the hospital together with Grace and Alvin just now to visit Daphne and her little princess.. Another newborn.. Seeing the little one, I can't help but wonder that giving birth to a baby is something miracle and great.. but then not the pain and hard push part!

After hearing and learning from most friends- new mum.. Stuff like Natural birth is better, better have babies by the age of 30, how hard confinement period is, high expenses, milk powder, buy this buy that, umbilical cord, swollen leg, weight gain, lose weight.. How I feel after hearing all this = Scare!!! wuhuuuuu

Anyway... Welcome little Aaralyn! She have big eyes =D

**2/2/2011- Chinese new year Eve.. I sent my baby car for a last minute wash, filled up the petrol and stuff.. It was a hot day in the afternoon.. so while waiting for my car, I went in the restaurant next to the car wash for some cooling ABC.. and listen to Jonathan and Chinez talk..
**At night, me and my dad went to Funwok at Kiulap for our CNY Eve dinner.. Why two of us only? Because my mum and brothers went to KK, Sabah..
**After dinner I went over to Chienz house.. Tze wei and SY came over too and we went to the temple together..
**At the temple, I saw few familiar faces.. Joseph, Ting ting, Mei ling, Jamie Ching, Janet, Ah choon, Ah beng, Sim yang, Thanis, Denise, Sandra and I can't remember anymore.. lol
We left the temple and had a short gathering at the nearby carpark and I saw Blu and her hubby.. ohh how I miss her =)

**3/2/2011- First day of CNY! Happy CNY people.. I put on my new dress and with my advance Valentine's present from the bf, off I go to open houses =D

Nervous day of my life! For the first time I brought a bf home.. Unbelievable right? Honestly it's true, I never bring or intro any of my ex-bfs to my parents lol..

I was so tense at work and keep praying for things to go smooth hehe.. Anyway, so Rue, Ray, Mei Ling, Siew Yun, Ling Chi, Chienz came to my house in the evening.. Thank God for Mei ling because I don't know how to handle and she's very close to my mum so there's an advantage hehe..

After my place, Rue and Ray left for other function and I followed the rest to Chern Siew's house..

Had lunch with Rue, Ray and Chienz today.. Rue flew to Taiwan with his family in the evening.. So we said goodbye after lunch..
Then went I reached office, dim sum on my table! Felicia & Uncle bought me some for my tea break lol

I just got back from dinner at Pizza Hut.. I was there with the two pregnant hot to be mums and their husband.. Where's my partner? Coming home soon =)
And they story me so much about the process of giving birth lol.. Daphne said she felt her stomach pain and Grace panic that Daphne might give birth the next day lol.. I can't listen too much to their story, scary actually.. hehe Well, I can't wait to see their babies =)

This trip, I manage to take a few hours time to get my hair dye.. went to clinic with mum.. went to Bintangor.. saw 3 of my niece.. meet up with Lieh, Alice, baby Dickson and Pang Huat.. and sleepover for a night at Lieh & Alice's own house, nice comfy house of their own *shining eyes* (sobs I miss them all)
Lastly about this weekend trip: I couldn't stop eating.. I love Sibu local food =)

Last month today, I went to Singapore.. bringing the not-so-good-looking cupcakes with me all the way from Brunei.. at least he appreciate it..

I brought all the ingredient needed over to Grace's place and we finished after two hours.. Thank God for Grace.. I'm kinda slow at making it, so thanks to her for teaching, time and patient.. hehe.. I don't have the talent and interest for cooking, what more to say for baking.. Therefore, these cupcakes baking actually aren't too difficult.. Got to make sure you have got the ingredient and steps right.. Honestly, I'm a forgetful person, so don't blame me for forgetting how to bake these again.. lol

Last night I welcomed the year 2011 by being push into the pool.. Almost freeze to death because I forgot to bring my towel lol.. Great gathering just too bad the crowd aren't dancing people.. hehe.. From the place, when the clock strike 12 we witness fireworks from few places.. nice~~

Kath is back from KK, so its meet up time.. Our first lunch of the year.. lol at Excapade Sushi, so nice of Alex- Kath's friend treat us for lunch.. Jonathan and Tyng joined us too..

After lunch we grab cheap and nice ice cream at Jolibee...

Then off to Saloon- me for hair wash while Kath had her hair dye..

Later in the afternoon, tea session with Izan and others.. Before me, Kath and Tyng decide to head home, we went to Mall.. Today is a good day.. hehe.. Happy New Year again.. May it be another great and happy year! Cheers!

This week is really a bad week at work! Today again, some client is really unreasonable and like to shout in the phone! Grrrrr

After I left office , I don't feel like going home yet but then don't know where I should go.. I end up driving to Times Square, then I remembered I should go buy myself a drink from 'Each A Cup'.. I wait patiently in the long queue to enter Times Square and spend quite awhile looking for parking.. so many people tonight~~~
Chienz suggest me to order 'Chocolate Milk Tea', it's nice~ I first drank 'Each A Cup' in Singapore, yeap it's a franchise business.. I'll remembered that funny moment, The 2 Pearl Milk Tea Story.. hehe
I went to HSBC this afternoon and waited for almost an hour for my turn to the counter.. aduhhh..
Ahhhh boss return from Korea today and he bought us a big bag of seaweed with different flavor.. Maybe he want us to eat grass.. lol

My Christmas was spent at Sport Cafe Miri, manage to sang a song with Ivy only and did more drinking instead lol.. we, girls wanted to go over to The Balcony to dance actually but it's full..

Before Sport cafe, I had dinner at Mr. Ho Restaurant and they have Haagen Daz Ice Cream so I order and Samuel introduce the Apricot & Cream flavor.. It's nice!
I didn't expect to see my ex-colleague, Florence there at Sport Cafe lol.. The last time I saw her was two years ago I think..
Oh yea, guess what Christmas gift did I get from the exchange gift gathering in the office? Easi recharge card worth $20 and I sell it off to Fred at cheaper amount lol.. I was fooled by the packages.. lol

Tang Yuan day in our Little house

Today is 'Dong Zhi', the day we eat 'tang yuan'.. I didn't expect my mum will make 'tang yuan' this year, because this few years it's always Patterson who make.. That's why when I saw the 'tang yuan' on the kitchen table this morning, I was happy.. Picture above is the 'tang yuan' made by my mum, the shape is not round perfect but who cares, it's nice and filled with love.. *sniff* Our 'tang yuan' is 'foo chow' style I think, coated with peanut.. =D

I just finished two movies which Samuel lend me.. Both very meaningful..

'Dear John' is a romantic film.. Love no matter how far a couple is, their love for sure can be strong but not when it's apart for years.. 'The Blind Side' is touching and sad one, based on true story.. When you are able to lend a hand to help a person life turn better and accept as a family, you are that person's life saviour..

5 days to Christmas! I will be celebrating in Miri, meeting up the Miri friends.. I wonder what plan do they have.. but then I have a feeling it's going to be a very slow count down staying at home.. hehe

Yeah, I wish I don't too.. but how can I not have stress when there is so many problems~~~ I think the older I get, I can't handle stress anymore.. Two movies for today and in between I manage to buy Christmas present for the office exchange gift gathering on Christmas eve after work.. Boss should let us off early!!! -__-'''

I watched Tron and Narnia.. Tron in 3D version, I haven't try Brunei's 3D version since it started last month or so.. My first 3D experience was in Singapore or was it in Thailand lol I forgot.. I don't really like watching movie in 3D but once in awhile is fine..

The 3D here is kinda different.. Lack of quality I guess haha.. Tron was ok only but the actor Garrett Hedlund is good looking.. I think Narnia better, this time the movie remind us not to make mistake/wrong decision by temptation.. The 3rd 'Narnia the Voyage of the Dawn Treader' should be the last part of Narnia movie..

The Mall now have 4 new cinema theater and I watched Narnia in the new cinema 5.. Cinema 5 is small with about 7 rows of seating and a big screen, the chairs ofcourse comfy since it's new.. Alright, I'm tired so end of this post, pictures below =D

The night about airlines- good looking steward

Today is one of those hectic day at work.. My stress for this job is building inside me, until the stage where I can break down and cry even-though I can solve the problem slowly or by hearing my supervisor voice or other colleague's voice can make me lose my temper or feel uncomfortable..

This few days I re-thinking again.. should I quit? Well for now, I don't like my job but I like my office current new environment and the distance between my house which is like NEAR.. sighs I torture myself for the sake of the environment wth! Anyway, I kinda get the sign from God that I should quit since I'm not happy.. Alright, I should get myself together and start searching for new job again! Oh good opportunity please come to me!!! hehehe

After a stressful day, good laughs with friends is one of the best medicine for de-stress.. I just got back from tea session with Kath, Tyng, Joan, Jamie & Jonathan at Coffeezone.. Having Jian Tyng around it's definitely full of laughter.. And such a coincidence I meet Chienz, Fab, Tze Wei and others, Wendy, Cindy, Ah Soon there.. Alright now let me now start my drama marathon before I sleep lol.. I manage to copied few Hong Kong drama from Jamie hehe.. So Goodnight! =)

Heading to the Brunei's gate?

My short trip to Singapore has endeddddd.. Sighs back to work today feel so hmm moody.. For this trip I manage to buy a few CNY clothing only, I'm now waiting for my handbag! hehe

It was a slow & relax trip this time, unlike the last rushy trip back in July.. Too bad I can't spend everyday walking in shopping mall because my ears will be hurt from hearing complains.. hehe.. I enjoyed our shopping time.. hehe

I'm here to story about last night, when I was inside the Changi Airport- helping Roger to buy wine back to Brunei for his mum then make some free call to Rue with their public phone lol.. then when I was walking to the boarding gate, a lady voice was paging someone to board the plane.. That someone was ME!!! wth

So I quickly start running to the gate.. Some of you might know that the gate for Brunei's plane is at the far end of the Airport.. My run ended when the guy driving the Airport buggy came to me.. "Miss, you heading to the Brunei's gate?" and he asked me to hop on and drive me down to the gate as fast as he can.. It was really fast lol.. and I quickly jump off and throw all my staff onto the scanning machine and I got lecture abit by the officer for being the last one.. yieksss..

Thank God that I'm not being wait for the plane to take off! When I board the plane I was just in time lining up with the people getting sited.. sighs, what a funny and tired moment..

A slow day in Singapore

I'm currently blogging from the hotel in Singapore.. I'm here for short trip only ;o( Tomorrow will be saying bye bye to Singapore and Rue.. We just got back from this food center called 'chomp chomp', Wei Ru had supper with us too hehe.. I have been hearing Rue and his friend said 'chomp chomp' is good place with delicious food.. so I insist I must try, eh well it was ok, I kinda prefer the food center at Newton.. So now I'm feeling super full.. I have been like eating non-stop for this trip.. aiyaaa fat-ness.. lol

Let me post pictures of what we have done today.. After having Kimchi for lunch we went to Singapore Botanic Gardens, Rue say must go see flowers so we go lo.. I have no comment since it's his birthday today and I 'kena' bully without complain.. After his birthday I'll have my revenge kakaka..

Anyway, super hot day at Botanic Garden, we both can't stand the walk actually so we actually like walk for half of the place only.. haha.. oh yea, I saw the bungee at Clark Quey today!! I want to ride it buy don't dare.. T.T Anyway so, we had dinner at Clark Quey and sit down to enjoy the slow night by the river before we head for supper.. It was really a relax and slow day with no shopping as promised.. haha.. ;o)

I have been wanting to post pictures about my ride on Singapore Flyer from last trip haha.. only now I have the mood to post.. haha.. dududu~

One of the must do during my last trip was to ride the Singapore Flyer, Rue said night time should be prettier because of lights so we wait and ride it at night.. I love to ride this kind of stuff so I'm very excited that day, I don't think Rue like because he scare of height.. hehe His leg starts to wobbly when our capsule slowly move up.. hehe.. proof of his expression in below picture lalala..

I read that you can have dinning in the capsule and you can even book the whole capsule to yourself or have function in it.. expensive I believe.. hehe.. and to Rue: is our picture kept in good condition?? jeng jeng jeng

It's December.. One of my favourite month because of Christmas! and now I have another reason to like December more because its Rue's birthday month lol =)

Gosh, my blog look so empty since I haven't been updating for weeks.. I need to make sure I start updating more hehe and I'm looking forward for next week trip =D

What have happened since my last update?

1. I went to SY, Denise & Terry birthday party and I ends up being KO, an embarrassing night for me I guess.. but I had fun.. =D
2. I watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallow Part 1 with Samuel, Joan and Daniel..
3. Nicole came up to Brunei and we manage to catch up twice..
4. I went to Chienz BBQ belated birthday and ate alot..
5. I join dancing class to sweat abit but it's only a 10 class session.. lol
6. I almost lost a good buddy last month, thank god he came back..
7. I went to Miri last Sunday for a day trip.. Meet up with Clemence to buy my bridesmaid dress.. Also meet up Samuel for eating session and before I left Miri, we went to try the new McDonald which have Drive-Thru service!! hehe
8. Work still isn't going well for me.. stress..
9. Trim my hair at Kelvin Salon in Miri, my hair feels better now..
10. I'm still watching alot of drama especially on Astro.. lol

I'm glad to have a blur sweet boyfriend, a very caring buddy and a very good BFF.. Thank God that I have them in my life.. *Thanks Buddy for all the help.. Thanks BFF for the support..*

Public holiday today and I decide to stay home and rot.. Now I kinda feel regret that I didn't follow Chienz, PY & KWang down to Miri.. lol.. It's ok I have drama to watch.. =P

Harry Potter new movie is out~ I can't wait to watch it! Alright nothing for me to blog more.. Time for Astro and dinner with Chienz them later when they return from Miri.. =D

Another week gone by..

It's been raining for almost every night.. The weather is really acting weird..

On the 11/11, I was invited by Daniel to a hair show event by Clairol Professional together with Chienz, Eve, Jo Lin, Matt & Joan.. The colors introduce by Clairol product look great and I want to try out the color!! All the models are pretty, looking at them remind me of my experience being a hair model back in college.. wuuuu I miss that great time..

Wuhuuu yesterday has a nice date 20.10.2010 = 20102010.. lol

What did I do on 20102010..

1. Drag Rue over to Chienz house to try Chienz's handmade lemon cheesecake.. not bad, nice!

2. Me and Chienz perform some concert, sing KTV ofcourse.. coz we have nothing else to do.. lol

3. I spotted a lovely cute pink Minnie mouse! so cuteeeee.. my love for Mickey and Minnie mouse can't be describe and yet Chinez don't allow me to bring it home.. because the cute Minnie mouse belong to her niece.. wth..

My birthday.. Thinking back on what happen that day, I do not know whether to laugh or feel sad.. but it's definitely a day for me to remember and share with my children wth.. =D
